Erie D. Yates (1892-1971), daughter-in-law of Houston trailblazer, Rev. Jack Yates, is seated 2nd from the right in the front row. She was the wife of Rutherford B. H. Yates (1880-1944), who himself graduated from Bishop College 5 years prior in 1905.
